Maia's Big Trip . . . First Stop Georgia

Our friends Corey and Elliot got married May 17 on Jekyll Island, GA. This was Maia's first big trip and first time on an airplane. We left Denver and flew to Jacksonville, FL and then drove up to Jekyll Island where Kim came down to meet us and stay for the weekend. Unfortunately I didn't get to see Kim that much, but Maia and Kim had some great bonding time while Kim basically filled in for me the entire weekend! It worked out great as DJ and I both got to participate in all of the pre-wedding festivities while Maia hung out with Auntie Kim. The island was beautiful and couldn't have been more perfect for Corey's wedding. The wedding went great and we had a wonderful time seeing everyone and being part of Corey and Elliot's big day. Sunday was time for everyone to head home (see you soon Kim!), to Tahiti (have a fabulous honeymoon Corey and Elliot!) or in our case on to our next stop . . . Alabama!
